Hello, I'm Katie. I create artwork for children's stories published in the UK and internationally.
I am also the author-illustrator of Seen and Not Heard and Hide and Seek: picturebooks about mischievous children climbing out of portraits.
I have an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art, and a BA in Art History from Bristol University.
Sometimes I lecture at universities in Illustration. I also run children's illustration workshops in schools and museums.
I grew up in Shropshire, England, where I now live again with my husband and sons.
